101 Questions You Should Be Able to Answer About Your Character

Basics

1. What is your full name? Do you have a nickname?

Brigitte Pamela Fitzgerald

2. How old are you? When is your birthday?

Seventeen. September 13. I'm a virgo, if you can believe such things. Which I don't by the way.

3. Where were you born? Where do you live now? Are you patriotic?

I was born in Bailey Downs...okay, techincally I was born in Regina, Saskatchewan but I grew up in Bailey Downs. Now? I live on the run and I try not to stop anywhere for too long. Lately I've been in Winnipeg.

Uh...not really. I mean, I celebrated Canada Day when I was kid but I don't really do much now. I like living in Canada though so I guess I'm a little patriotic.

4. Who are/were your parents? (Names, occupations, personalities, etc.)

My mother is Pamela Fitzgerald. She's about 40 now, was formerly a homemaker but is now serving a life sentence in Kingston Pentitentary for crimes she didn't commit. Why is she doing that? Because despite her general weirdness, my mother is a good person who wanted to protect her daughters. She can be annoying and pushy but no one else ever cared as much about me and Ginger as she did. I miss her.

My father is Henry Fitzgerald. Accountant and adulterer. I think he's 45, 46 maybe? I can't remember the last time I celebrated his birthday. I think my father is asshole and have thought even since his secretary started phoning the house. Ginger knows and she thinks Mom deserves it for nagging Dad all the time. . I always assumed Mom didn't have a clue but after the stuff she said the last night I saw her, I'm not so sure.

5. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?

I have one, my older sister Ginger. She was my best friend and now she's worm food. Blunt way to put it but true nonetheless. When she was alive she was....wonderful. Okay, wonderfully bitchy but brave and beautiful and...everything I'm not. Did I envy her? Yeah, of course I did but I loved her too. There's nothing I wouldn't give to have her back by my side.

Too bad I'm the one who killed her.

6. What is your occupation?

Unemployed. I really should get a job though since I haven't got two pennies to rub together.

7. How tall are you? How much do you weigh?

Five foot four and I weigh 110 lbs. When I'm human anyway.

8. What color is your hair? What color are your eyes?

Dark brown. Grey/green.

9. What is your race?

I am caucasian but if you're refering to alien or supernatural races, I'm a werewolf.

10. To which social class do you belong?

Middle class. We weren't rich but we weren't poor either.

11. Do you consider yourself to be attractive? Do others?

No and no. At least I don't think so.

12. What is your style of dress?

Whatever's comfortable. And not pink. You wouldn't catch me dead in pink. Red maybe. Most times I wear jeans and t-shirts now because I'm always on the go but back in highschool I had a thing for old skirts, sweaters and clunky boots.

13. Do you have any scars? Tattoos? Birthmarks? Other unique physical features?

14. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?

15. Are you right- or left-handed?

16. What does your voice sound like?

17. What kind of vocabulary do you use?

18. List three quirks or other defining characteristics.

19. How often do you bathe? Do you wear perfumes?

20. What kind of facial expression do you commonly wear (dour glare, wry smile, etc)?

21. Do you use body language? How?

22. Do you have a commonly used saying?

Childhood

23. What is your earliest memory?

24. How much schooling have you had? Did you enjoy it?

25. Where did you learn most of your knowledge and skill?

26.

Background: Brigitte is the youngest daughter of Pam and Henry Fitzgerald, the younger sister to the temperamental Ginger, who was Brigitte's only friend. The pair shared such a deep bond that when they were eight they swore they would die together. The sisters grew older and as they grew their plan changed greatly to become a pact to runaway at sixteen. "Out by sixteen or dead on the scene but either way, together forever", the pair swore. Time passed quickly and sisters remained outcasts in Bailey Downs, so much so that as they came closer to sixteen the idea of killing themselves seemed more and more appealing. Their obsession with death spilled out into their school work when the pair worked on a project called "Life in Bailey Downs" which consisted of a slideshow of the sisters in various fake death scenes. On the day that the girls debuted their project, Brigitte was picked on by Trina Sinclair. Judging by Brigitte's tone, this was a regular occurrence but what was not regular was when Trina shoved Brigitte into the remains of a dog.

Brigitte and Ginger devised a plan for revenge, plotting to nab Trina's dog and fake the animal's death so that Trina would think the Beast of Bailey Downs did it. Unfortunately for the sisters, they encountered the real beast that night while in the local playground. The beast had been drawn to the girls thanks to Ginger's menstrual blood and it attacked the eldest Fitzgerald. With the help of Brigitte, Ginger was able to get away from the beast but it was too late, she had already been infected with the lycanthrope virus. While the pair ran across a road during their escape, the werewolf that was chasing them was hit by a van driven by Sam, the local drug dealer. The sisters made it home as Ginger began to heal, something which scared Brigitte. She insisted that they call a doctor but Ginger pleaded with her not to. The next day the sisters went to school and tried to pretend that nothing was wrong. Yet it was clear to Brigitte that this was not the case. Already Ginger had begun to change, becoming angrier and impulsive which lead to a rife between the sisters which grew as Ginger started dating Jason McCardy and Brigitte turned to Sam for help. Brigitte lied to Sam, telling him that the werewolf he hit had infected her and together the pair worked on a cure for lycanthropy.

After Ginger's disastrous first time with Jason, Ginger began to realize that what was happening to her wasn't normal so she and Brigitte try Sam's first suggestion for curing lycanthropy by piecing Ginger with silver. Sadly it didn't work so Brigitte and Sam start researching a plant rumored to cure werewolves, a plant known as Monkshood. By this point Ginger had decided she didn't want a cure and she was jealous of the growing bond between Sam and Brigitte. Ginger tried to convince Brigitte to let Ginger make her a werewolf too but when that failed, Ginger went after Sam. To save Sam and convince Ginger that they had a cure, Brigitte infected herself with Ginger's blood but Ginger was already too far gone. Brigitte and Sam tried to bring Ginger back to the Fitzgerald house where their mother had a pile of dried monkshood but Ginger transformed into a full blown werewolf along the way and turned on the pair. Sam was killed but Brigitte managed to survive by killing Ginger. She took the cure for herself and ran away from Bailey Downs that night.

Sadly for Brigitte, her so-called cure didn't work. It suppressed the lycanthrope virus but it didn't cure it. While she was on the run Brigitte continued to search for cure but she was not the only werewolf out there. A male werewolf stalked her every move, finally tracking her down to a run-down motel in Winnipeg. As Brigitte tried to escape, she passed out thanks to monkshood she had injected earlier. When she woke up Brigitte found herself in a rehab clinic called Happier Times. It was there Brigitte encountered junkies, a slimeball named Tyler and a strange girl named Ghost. It was the latter who figures out what Brigitte was, thanks to Ghost's love of horror comics and Ghost helped Brigitte escape from the clinic on one condition: Brigitte had to take Ghost with her.

Brigitte agreed but the girls quickly discovered that the male werewolf was still after Brigitte when they attempt to get Monkshood from Tyler. The trio, Tyler, Brigitte and Ghost retreated back to Ghost's house in the woods. Tyler helped Brigitte inject more monkshood in her system but it had an adverse effect, causing her to go into shock. While Tyler tried to help Brigitte, Ghost grew jealous of the pair and schemed to get rid of Tyler. Later she pretended that Tyler raped her while Brigitte was passed out, causing Brigitte to seek revenge by locking Tyler outside of the house and at the mercy of the werewolf. Meanwhile Brigitte and Ghost prepared to fight the werewolf off when Alice, the woman who ran the Happier Times clinic, appeared, wondering where Tyler was as he had called her when Brigitte went into shock.

It is around this point that Brigitte learned that Ghost lied about her grandmother's "accident" and realizes that the young girl is not as innocent as she seems. Brigitte confronted Ghost but at that moment the werewolf got into the house. Ghost and Alice fled to the attic while Brigitte faced and attempted to kill the werewolf. She succeeded but with its last breath, the werewolf seriously harmed Brigitte. Ghost used the distraction to kill Alice with a hammer to the head and found Brigitte alive. When the older girl pleaded with Ghost to kill her, Ghost chose to keep Brigitte alive and locked her up in the cellar. She became Ghost's very own hound of hell as it were but after a while Brigitte realized that she was not trapped in her werewolf form and she learned how to transform back into a human. Once Brigitte finally succeeded in transforming, she passed out. When she awoke managed to escape the cellar and discovered Ghost was not there. With the car gone too, Brigitte could only assume Ghost had gone to town for food and supplies so she decided to grab some clothes and get the hell out of there.

Brigitte found some of Barbara's old clothes and dressed quickly when she noticed a letter with her name on it resting on the dresser.

Curious, Brigitte tore it open.
I betrayed her and I stabbed her in the chest with her own knife. The latter she'll definately never get over but knowing Ginger, even if the second had never happened, she would have never gotten over being betrayed. I couldn't help it. I was scared and I couldn't handle everything on my own. Besides, she wouldn't listen to me.

02. Sam: I got him killed and betrayed him in the end. There's no way to ever make up for that.

03. Trinia Sinclair: I buried her and I had a part in her death but I think the real hurt I caused her was through being around Sam. If only she knew, nothing would have ever happened between me and Sam. Certainly not with Ginger around.

04. Jason McCardy: I stabbed him in the neck with a needle full of poison and later on I bashed his head in with a curling rock. I'm not sorry for either. I'm just sorry I didn't do it earlier.

05. Beth-Anne: I slammed her up against the wall for picking on Ghost. I'm not sorry for that either.

06. Jeremy the librarian guy: I don't even know his last name and I never had anything against him but if he hadn't had followed me back to the hotel then he'd probably still be alive. I didn't kill but because of me he got killed.

07. Alice: Again, I didn't physically hurt her but she got killed because of me. Because I called Tyler, because I overdosed and Tyler called her, because I trusted Ghost, the little psychopath arsonist.

08. Tyler: I hurt him by setting up him to die by werewolf. I had a good reason, I thought he molested Ghost. Turned out I was wrong. He was a jerk but I do kinda regret that. Prick that he was, Tyler didn't deserve to die like that...if he did die.

09. Pam Fitzgerald: A.K.A Mom. I hurt her by being such a screw up for a daughter. That might have hurt dad too but it was mom I was closest to. It was my screw ups and Ginger's murders that got her sent to prison when god knows what has happened to her. And I left her there to rot. Guess I got my just deserts when Ghost locked me up in the cellar.

10. Ghost: I slammed her up against the wall and threatened to kill her. If she had been home when I got out of that damn cellar I would have done a lot more than hit her. I would have fucking ripped her throat out.

Muse: Brigitte Fitzgerald (AU)
Fandom: Ginger Snaps II: Unleashed
Word count: 450

It's the second part of that statement that gives me trouble. How can you laugh at some of the shit that life throws at you? There's a lot of bad things that happened in my life that I can't laugh about. I mean, what the fuck is there to laugh about when I lost Ginger? What the fuck was there to laugh about when I saw Sam bleeding on the floor? What--

But now I'm ranting like some fucking emo kid. Mom was right; I always took things too seriously. That's why I'm so on edge all the time...that and the fear of the full moon, other werewolves, or being caught by the police. Yeah, my life is a laugh riot. I don't know why I'm not in stitches right now.

For those who can't tell, I'm being sarcastic right now. But hey, that's a form of humor, right?

So if I had the ability to laugh at my life then I might actually enjoy it? Hmmm...um, no.
Don't talk to me about ghosts, I've got too many in my life and in my past. If it isn't Ginger haunting me then it's her. The one named for a ghost by her own grandmother. The one who kept me locked up all those months. I bet she never expected me to escape. Shit, I never expected to escape for that house in the woods and I certainly didn't expect to make it far enough to reach civilization again. I wonder if Ghost has even noticed that I'm gone.

...She's got to know. She's got to know by now. No noises coming from the cellar, no growling or clawing at the door. Yeah, she's got to suspect something's up by now. Maybe she went down to investigate a little. I can see her now, pale as sheet with long blond hair and those hideous braces. Searching for her pet wolf to feed more unsuspecting victims to.

Goddamn you Ghost.

I thought I could trust her. I thought she understood. Now I know the truth.

You can’t trust anyone.

Muse: Brigitte Fitzgerald (AU)
Fandom: Ginger Snaps II: Unleashed
Word count: 179
